Welcome to Statie Photography! I’m Joshua Statie, a 24-year-old photographer based in Amsterdam but born in Miami and raised on the sun-soaked island of Bonaire. I specialise in weddings, Events, corporate Headshots & Commercial Brand, but my lens is wide, capturing moments across a range of occasions.

Photography found me at a young age, kindled by a fascination with my mother's camera. As I grew, I nurtured this spark with an action camera of my own, creating montages and capturing moments. But as life often goes, my focus shifted towards practicalities, embarking on a journey to become an aircraft engineer in Holland. Little did I know, my true calling was waiting to re-emerge.

My work is driven by my profound love for capturing the fleeting, meaningful moments that narrate a person's story. Whether it's the profound joy of a wedding or the shared accomplishment in a event, I strive to frame these stories through a uniquely vibrant and sensitive lens.

In the pursuit of my passion, I've had the privilege of working with renowned brands such as Adidas and Audi. These experiences have not only honed my technical skills but also enriched my understanding of storytelling through imagery.
